What data does SCRT S.A. and Telsys S.A. collect and why?

We only collect the minimum information about our marketing events participants to enable them a flawless experience when attending the events. The personal data collected includes:

  • First name
  • Last Name
  • Company
  • Email address
  • City
  • Country
  • Event option(s) subscribed to if applicable
  • Payment means details
  • IP address

We may also take pictures during the event, on which you may appear. This material may be used for further advertisement of our events.

Your data is only processed by authorized SCRT S.A. and Telsys S.A. employees and by their subcontractors, which are located in the EU and in Switzerland.

How do we manage and protect your personal information?

Disclosure

SCRT S.A. and Telsys S.A. would only disclose marketing events participants’ information which is required to detect or prevent crime to relevant authorities.

Data transfers

SCRT S.A. and Telsys S.A. do not transfer any data regarding their marketing events participants to countries outside of the E.U., unless required to detect or prevent crime.

Security controls

SCRT S.A. and Telsys S.A. implement technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk faced by marketing events participants’ data.

What are your rights?

SCRT S.A. and Telsys S.A. would like to make sure you are fully aware of your rights as a data subject under the GDPR. Every participant to one of our marketing events is entitled to the following:

  • Request a copy of your personal data held by us. SCRT S.A. and Telsys S.A. are required to fulfil this request within 20 working days
  • Withdraw consent where that is the legal basis of our processing
  • Rectify inaccuracies in personal data that we hold about you
  • Request to remove some personal data we hold about you restrict the processing in certain ways
  • Object to certain processing of your personal data by us

Finally, you should be aware that you have the right in any event to lodge a complaint with a national authority responsible for the protection of personal data if you consider that your data has not been processed in accordance with the applicable provisions.

Code of conduct

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

We expect all participants, presenters, sponsors, employees, and staff to:

  • Remain positive, friendly, and welcoming to others at all times
  • Recognize that Reboot is a place for diversity of thought, organization, and individuals; as such, respect and inclusivity for all is expected
  • Wear your Reboot badge at all times
  • Be alert and report any discriminatory, harassing, aggressive, or exclusionary behavior or speech to event staff immediately

Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter and other online media. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Sponsors are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualised images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualised environment.

If a participant engages in harassing behavior, the conference organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of conference staff immediately. Conference staff can be identified as they’ll be wearing branded clothing and/or badges.

Conference staff will be happy to help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the conference. We value your attendance.

We expect participants to follow these rules at conference and workshop venues and conference-related social events.
